"Wizard of Oz" Full Quilt

I machine pieced this quilt using my Janome Memory Craft 9000. Finished size: 75" x 90"
This was the first time I ever used a long arm - some dear friends rented me time on a long arm machine at our local quilt shop as a birthday gift to me!

Front piecing: Freehanded pieced design from various Wizard of Oz novelty fabrics and cotton prints.

Top/Bottom Border: 2" blocks from leftover piecing fabrics.
Back: Light green/white floral pattern.

Binding: Deep red cotton solid.

Quilting: Used variegated thread colors throughout quilt to match various fabric patterns/colors - all in a stippled pattern.
