Front piecing: Central pieced pattern are nine "Hidden Wells" blocks, surrounded by a middle border of 25-patch blocks using a Strip Set Method. Final outer border is a "Saw Tooth" pattern made from half-square triangles.
Inner Sashings: Several different narrow and wide printed fabric sashings (stars, stripes, and hawaiian florals) are placed in between the central blocks, the middle border of 25-patches and the final saw tooth border.
Back: Fabric is a bold, patriotic printed cotton of flags, stars and eagles.
Used dark red thread on the front and bright red thread on the back.
Quilting: Pattern is "Field of Flowers", an edge-to-edge design of flower petals, leaves and flourishes.
Look how luscious and wrinkly-scrunchy the quilting is after a washing!
Washed, folded, labeled and ready to be shipped to its new home!

Up on my "design wall" (back of a flannel tablecloth!) after adding the 25-patches, and realizing I still needed to make this quilt larger.
Measuring the length of HST's needed for the Saw Tooth border.

Loving how the quilting pattern (Field of Flowers) is stitching out.
Sewing on the binding using my blind hem foot (#5) on my Bernina 240.
