Red & Black Oversized Lap Quilt
I machine pieced this quilt on my Bernina 240.
I quilted this quilt on my Janome QMP-18 long arm.

Front piecing: Used reds, ivory & black fabrics, inspired by “Fractured” pattern (modified).
Inner Border: Two rows of brick patterned strips from various ivory and tan fabrics.
Outer Border: Wide, matching backing fabric.
Back: Black/white floral with leftover quilt blocks from front fabrics.
Quilting: Quilted in "Mums the Word" floral chrysanthemum pattern, front with red thread, back with white thread.

Being quilted on my Janome QMP-18 long arm.
Lovely and soft after a few machine washings (using Color Catchers).
The quilting pattern is amplified after the fabrics have "scrunched-up" post-washing.
