The deep aqua thread is a perfect complementary match.

Front: fresh off the long arm, before trimming, binding and washing.

Back: fresh off the long arm, before trimming, binding and washing.

Cat not only does a wonderful job piecing her quilts, she also skillfully hand-sews all of her quilt's bindings!

Front piecing: Colorful peacock panel surrounded by blue and purple sashings and borders.
Back: Slightly variegated, light aqua blue cotton.

Binding: Light aqua blue fabric matching backing, hand sewn.

Quilting: Quilted in repeating "Feathers-2" pattern. Both front and back in deep aqua toned thread.
