The front of this big quilt has an actual Sudoku puzzle as its central medallion.
The first pieced border is braided blocks, followed by a border of four-patches, and then a final border of alternating braids and 6" blocks from the green backing fabric.

It is quilted in a "Meandering Circle" pattern, front with grass-green thread, and back with chocolate brown thread.

The grass-green thread displays the stitching pattern nicely without overpowering the quilt's colors.

I embroidered a label directly onto one of the four-patches on the quilt's front.

A machine sewn two-toned brown & green piped (flanged) binding finishes the quilt.

The actual Sudoku puzzle used to correspond to the nine different fabrics for the quilt's central Sudoku medallion.

Measuring to determine how many braids will be needed for the braided border.

Four-patches as far as the eye could see! (used 52 total)

Loaded on the long arm, beginning the first of several rows.
